Reading the HOSE

The writings that ussually spotted in the hydraulic hose consist of :
- the brand
- the hose size (3/16" - 2")
- WP (Working Pressure in bar/Psi) : this is the limit for the hydraulic system pressure in the machine so when selecting the hose, we have to know the exact pressure of the machine.
- hose application (R1, R2, R5, R6, R7, R12, R13, 4SP, 4SH, LOC, Teflon)

Definition of Hydraulic Hose & Assemblies

Hydraulic Hose: a flexible tube made from such as (synthetic rubber, nylon, PTFE, Polyamide, etc) reinforced by (steel wire, fabric, polyester, textile braid, fiber braid, or nylon) for delivering liquid or to make a mechanism work through a pressure from that liquid (oil, fuel, air, gas, water, chemicals).

Hydraulic Hose Assemblies : the suitable hoses (WP, size and Hose application) with the right thread, size of fittings/couplings to easily to connect with the machines/mechanism
